Hybrid festival, primarily a team competition (Festival 6s, City 4s); the ENGINE format additionally offers Solo and Pairs entries. Three divisions (Everyday / Intermediate / Elite).

Format

Turf Games is at heart a team competition — and that sets it apart from every other hybrid format in this calendar. A single event typically consists of 4–5 back-to-back workouts with functional movements: lifting (but no heavy Olympic), running, rowing, short obstacle stations.

Each event runs three divisions:

The ENGINE format is the most cardio-heavy hybrid variant and the only standard format with Solo and Pairs entries. The Festival and City variants are team-only.

Heavy barbell lifts (max snatch, clean & jerk) and Olympic-style work are essentially absent.
