Format

Wild Hybrid is a British outdoor trail hybrid series (organiser: Wild Deer Events). You run trail loops through forests and country parks, broken up by 5 functional stations. The movements are deliberately accessible — no high-skill work, no Olympic lifts — so the course works for first-timers through to elite.

Enter Solo or as Pairs, each in the RX and Scaled standards.

A trail loop is run between each station; the exact loop length varies by venue.

Wild Ruck Run

Alongside each event there is an optional Wild Ruck Run over 5 km or 10 km carrying a weighted pack (M 10 kg / W 7 kg) — a separate entry, not the station workout.

Season & Invitational

The series runs as a season across several UK venues. The top 10 in each category across all season events are invited to the Wild Hybrid Invitational (season final, e.g. Delamere Forest).
